Close to midnight I ventured out to Lake George to photograph the Milky Way. It was already rising high in the sky and I was able to capture the core in all it’s glory as well as the Magellanic Clouds. The glow to the right is Canberra 40 kilometres away and we’re so fortunate to still have accessible skies for astro photography not too far away
